In "True Beautiful Game" by Jon Blake, Jamie is a streetwise boy who considers himself a skilled snooker player and has bet a junior snooker champion one hundred dollars that he can beat him. The story is set in contemporary times and centers on the themes of family relationships and a boy's love of the game.
