In the world of the Airborn, everyone grows wings and can fly, but Az cannot. Az dreams of being like everyone else and being able to fly, and his father is an inventor who might be able to help. The story follows Az as he hopes his father's inventions might enable him to fly, or whether he will find another way to come to terms with who he is.
