Ginger, Nutmeg and Clove

The book follows three kittens named Ginger, Nutmeg, and Clove, who belong to Bracken, the Bradman's cat. Ginger is a red-haired, fearless cat who injures one of his legs, and after it heals, he continues to limp on the wrong leg simply because he enjoys the extra attention. Nutmeg is a long-haired cat who lives with a noisy parrot named Sailor, and while the two frequently clash, Sailor ultimately helps when Nutmeg gets accidentally locked in some cupboards. Clove is a kitten who has difficulty adjusting to her new home and refuses to eat the food provided.
