The Honey Hunters

"The Honey Hunters" is a retelling of a traditional African myth about a time when all the animals and human beings lived as friends. The story follows the honey-guide bird as it leads the animals including the antelope, leopard, zebra, lion, and elephant on a search for honey. Their quest for honey ultimately leads to conflict among the creatures. The book is illustrated with watercolours and was shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Medal.
