Mr. Uppity

In Roger Hargreaves' "Mr. Uppity," the richest and rudest character in the Mr. Men world is unexpectedly taken to the Goblin Kingdom after his mean behavior becomes too much. The goblins confront him and demand that he stop being so disagreeable, setting up a clear conflict between his pride and the lesson he needs to learn. The story follows his encounter with the fantastical creatures as he discovers what it means to treat others with kindness. This book, the eleventh entry in the Mr. Men series, is written for early readers and presents a simple lesson about respect and empathy.
