The Lion and the Mouse, Narrated by the Timid but Truthful Mouse is a picture-book retelling of the classic fable for early readers. The story is narrated by a small, timid mouse named Bitsy, who feels invisible among her siblings, and follows her as she helps a lion trapped in a hunter's net by chewing through the ropes.
