The Partner

Patrick Lanigan was a young partner at a Mississippi law firm who stole ninety million dollars, faked his death, and fled the country. After four years on the run, he is captured in Brazil and returned to the United States, where his former colleagues want revenge rather than justice. The novel follows the psychological and legal battle as Lanigan faces the consequences of his crime.
