About this book
A dog arrives at a farm looking for a job after traveling with sore paws and an empty stomach. The farmer initially rejects the dog, saying that dogs only eat without contributing anything. The determined dog attempts to work as a cow, a horse, and a chicken before finding his proper place on the farm. Through persistence, the dog eventually proves his value to the farmer.
