Emily and Jackson Hiding Out

When Emily's inheritance finally clears, Aunt Hilda becomes her legal guardian and offers to take Jackson under her wing as well, giving the two friends a shot at a stable life. Their hopes are short-lived, however, as Uncle Victor reappears, determined to steal Emily's fortune by any means necessary. Emily and Jackson must stay a step ahead of his schemes, hiding out and using their wits to protect what's rightfully theirs. The story follows their efforts to outmaneuver the greedy uncle while dealing with the everyday challenges of growing up.
