Captain Awesome and the New Kid

Eugene McGillicudy, otherwise known as Captain Awesome, stars in a light-hearted early-reader adventure, teaming up with his sidekick Nacho Cheese Man to keep Sunnyview safe from the usual roster of villains. When a new student named Sally Williams joins Ms. Beasley's class, the pair wonders whether she's a friend or a foe especially after learning she loves the same orange cat, Mr. Whiskersworth, and the comic-book hero Super Dude. Eugene must decide if Sally deserves a spot on the Squad, a choice that becomes even trickier when Turbo the cat weighs in.
