The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making

The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making follows twelve-year-old September, a girl from Omaha whose ordinary life is disrupted when a Green Wind sweeps her away to the enchanted realm of Fairyland. In this magical world she is tasked by the new Marquess with retrieving a powerful talisman hidden deep in the woods, a quest that forces her to face dangerous obstacles and hostile creatures. September travels with companions such as the witch Saturday and the loyal Leopard, who help her navigate dangers and uncover the talisman's true purpose. The story, the first in a series, blends whimsical adventure with moments of intense conflict, including scenes of violence that drive the plot forward.
