The Present

Arthur, an imaginative young boy, discovers a wrapped present tucked away in his parents' closet and spends the day guessing what might be inside. His excitement builds until a doorbell rings and a visitor arrives, interrupting his solo reverie and prompting him to reconsider who the gift is for. The story follows his spontaneous choice to share the present, illustrating how generosity can be more rewarding than keeping it all to himself. Simple, warm illustrations and a gentle tone make the tale an accessible lesson for early readers.
