About this book
In the prairie landscape of northeastern Saskatchewan, a young girl watches her father help build a massive dam. When she learns the project is almost finished and her family will be relocating to Toronto, she feels worried about leaving behind the places and memories she loves. Her teacher offers a creative solution that lets her keep those memories close, even as she starts anew in a far-away city.
