Tollins: Explosive Tales for Children/How to Blow Up Tollins

The book contains three stories about Tollins, small winged creatures that resemble fairies but are remarkably sturdy, about as fragile as a house brick. In "How to Blow Up Tollins," a fireworks factory arrives in the village of Chorleywood, and the Tollins are used as industrial supplies in the manufacturing process, being launched into the night sky and spun on Catherine wheels. The illustrated stories combine humor and adventure while introducing young readers to these fantasy creatures and their misadventures.
