About this book
The book is a fractured fairy-tale that re-imagines "The Princess and the Pea" with pigs as the characters. Penniless Princess Pigtoria hopes to restore her run-down palace by securing a proposal from the pompous Prince Proudfoot, who tests her sensitivity by placing a pea beneath a stack of mattresses. The story includes pizza parties, alliterative text, and humor while exploring themes of royalty and perseverance.
