Quick Summary

Looking for a short, lively retelling that still packs the heart of the classic Snow White? At just 950 words, this version is perfect for early readers who can handle a 3.9 AR level and want the satisfaction of finishing a chapter book in one sitting. The story follows Snow White as she slips away from her jealous stepmother and finds refuge with seven cheerful dwarves who not only give her a safe hideout but also teach her a few clever tricks along the way. The stepmother's schemes are present but toned down enough that the tale feels more adventurous than scary, making it a good choice for kids who like a little tension without the nightmares.
