Jellicoe Road

Abandoned by her mother on Jellicoe Road when she was eleven, seventeen-year-old Taylor Markham now serves as the reluctant leader of her boarding school dorm in Australia. When Hannah, the closest adult figure in her life, suddenly disappears, Taylor must confront her troubled past while dealing with the return of Jonah Griggs, a childhood acquaintance whose complicated history with Taylor resurfaces. The novel explores themes of identity, family, and belonging as Taylor uncovers the truth about her childhood and the secrets surrounding the people in her life.
