Quick Summary

Odd Hours drops you into a small coastal town where a fry-cook with a gift for seeing the dead must race against a looming apocalypse, making every page pulse with mystery and dark humor. Kids will devour the clever one-liners, the ghostly encounters that feel both spooky and oddly heart-warming, and the breakneck chase that never lets up. If your kid likes the witty, supernatural suspense of Goosebumps but is ready for a longer, more complex story, they will love this novel. Perfect for ages 14-18 (grades 9-12) who enjoy a mix of thriller, humor, and a touch of the supernatural.
