The Story of the Good Samaritan

The book retells the biblical parable of the Good Samaritan from the Gospel of Luke, in which a traveler is beaten by robbers and left by the roadside. A priest and a Levite pass by without helping, but a Samaritan stops to care for the injured man and pays for his lodging. Part of the Arch® Book series, this picture book uses simple rhyme and illustrations to present the biblical lesson about loving one's neighbor. The book is written at a third-grade reading level for children in grades K-3.
