About this book
The book offers a brief, simplified retelling of the Rikki-Tikki-Tavi episode from Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book, aimed at early elementary readers. It follows the curious mongoose Rikki-Tikki-Tavi as he is wrongly blamed for a snake's misbehavior in a garden and works to uncover the truth. The story features the mongoose, the snake, and a human family as the main characters, and shows how Rikki-Tikki-Tavi resolves the mystery.
