Princess Ellie Takes Charge

Princess Ellie Takes Charge is the seventh book in Diana Kimpton's Princess Ellie series, written at a 4.5 reading level for lower grades (K-3). The story follows Princess Ellie, who loves spending time with her ponies at the Royal Stable alongside her best friend Kate, and focuses on what she has learned about pony care from Meg, the palace groom. When Meg is injured and the old groom returns, he prevents Ellie from helping, leaving her beloved pony Moonbeam in danger. The book is set at the palace grounds where Ellie and Kate go on adventures with their ponies.
