The Warm Place

Ruva, a young giraffe, is captured and taken to a zoo in San Francisco, far from the warm savanna she calls home. Determined to get back, she enlists a ragtag group of allies a pair of clever rats, a street-wise chameleon, and a runaway boy each bringing a dash of animal magic to her quest. Together they must outwit the zoo's keepers and travel through the bustling city in a race against time. The story blends adventure and a hint of wonder as Ruva discovers what home truly means and the strength of friendship.
