Blitzcat

Blitzcat is a story about a black cat that travels across England during World II, trying to find her owner who is a soldier serving overseas. She moves through bombed-out cities and quiet villages, meeting different people whose lives are shaped by the war, and each encounter adds to the picture of life under the Blitz. The cat's point of view is interwoven with the stories of the humans she encounters, giving readers a sense of how ordinary people responded to bombing raids and rationing. Set during the height of the Blitz, the narrative follows the cat's determination as she navigates the dangers of wartime England.
