About this book
A playful retelling of the traditional folk song, this picture book follows a frog who decides to court a mouse. He invites her to dinner, and the story unfolds through their courtship, culminating in a wedding that gathers a crowd of animal friends. The simple, rhythmic verses describe the couple's journey and the mishaps that arise along the way, while bright illustrations bring the lively scenes to life for young readers.
