Description
"Rebecca" is about a young Jewish girl and her family who immigrate from Russia to Hirsch, Saskatchewan. After performing in an amateur show, they return home to find their farm destroyed by fire. The family must relocate to Winnipeg, where they struggle to rebuild their lives in the big city while dealing with poverty and adjusting to a new environment.
