Together, the stories illustrate the chilling repercussions of choices made in the haunted universe of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, serving as the seventh entry in the Fazbear Frights series.

Quick Summary

Fans of the video game will recognize the familiar terrors, but the three novella-length stories in The Cliffs give those scares a fresh twist, weaving together haunted pizzeria memories, a creepy carnival ride, and a mysterious cliffside attraction that feels like a puzzle you have to solve. At an AR level of 5.6, it's right in the sweet spot for middle-grade readers who want a quick, punchy read that still delivers real suspense, and the short-story format makes it perfect for reluctant readers who might otherwise get bogged down in a longer novel. The violence is there, but it's handled with a fun, over-the-top style that younger horror fans can handle think Goosebumps meets a haunted arcade. If your kiddo is into scary stories that also throw in a bit of humor and heart, this one hits the sweet spot without being too gory for the age range.
