Quick Summary

If you're into a story where two kids suddenly swap lives and find themselves tangled in a high-stakes conspiracy, then "Shadow Web" is the kind of fast-paced adventure that will keep you turning pages. The book mixes the fun of a body-swap premise with a tech-thriller edge, making it perfect for readers who love mystery, a bit of danger, and a hint of humor as they watch Jess try to outsmart a dangerous group while figuring out who she really is. There's a fair amount of suspense and a few genuinely scary moments nothing too graphic, but enough to get your heart racing so it's a good fit for kids who can handle a moderate level of tension. The narrative feels modern because it revolves around the internet's darker corners, which gives it a fresh twist that kids who enjoy video games or online mysteries will appreciate. If you liked the life-swap chaos of "Freaky Friday" combined with the quick, high-octane plot of "The Last Kids on Earth," you'll probably love this one just as much.
