The Stand

A deadly pandemic wipes out most of humanity, leaving scattered survivors to rebuild in a world forever changed. These survivors begin experiencing shared dreams that guide them toward one of two mysterious figures one representing good, the other evil. As the remaining people form communities and prepare for an apocalyptic confrontation, they must choose which side to join in this ultimate battle. The story follows several main characters through this transformed landscape as they grapple with faith, morality, and the fate of what remains of human civilization.
