Quick Summary

Picking up right where Wonderscape left off, Arthur, Ren, and Cecily find themselves trapped in Legendarium in the year 2493, where the shadowy villain Deadlock has already started misusing dangerous time-travel tech. If your kid loves fast-paced adventures, clever puzzles, and a dash of humor mixed with a little danger, this sequel will be right up their alley. The story balances exciting action with moments of genuine teamwork, and while there's a bit of fighting and a few tense scenes, it stays squarely in middle-grade territory. The trio has to outthink Deadlock, race against the clock, and navigate a world that feels like a giant, ever-shifting game board, which makes the pages fly by. It's a great pick for kids who enjoyed the first book, as well as for fans of the "Infinity Ring" series or the "13-Story Treehouse" books, because it's packed with problem-solving fun and a hint of retro-futuristic flair. Parents can feel good about the fact that the violence is mild, the tone is mostly upbeat, and the kids are constantly using their brains rather than just brute force.
