Description
Professor Frank Mouse is a shy but clever inventor who spends his days building and fixing things. When he makes a teddy bear named Teddy, he hopes it will become a friend, but soon learns that true friendship means sharing, listening, and caring for each other. As Frank and Teddy spend time together, they discover the joy of giving as well as receiving, and Frank's loneliness fades. This picture book for early readers shows how genuine companionship grows when both friends contribute to the relationship.
Quick Summary
If your kid loves stories about unlikely friendships, this one's for you. Frank is a tiny mouse professor who's brilliant at inventing things but too shy to make any real friends that is, until he meets Teddy. The story has this sweet way of showing kids that being good at things isn't the same as being good with people, and that vulnerability is actually pretty brave. It's a quick read at just 358 words, perfect for kids moving into chapter books who still want pictures with their stories. Parents will appreciate how it gently teaches sharing without being preachy, and the mouse duo has that classic buddy dynamic kids always eat up. Fans of "Frog and Toad" will probably love this for similar reasons it hits that same sweet spot of humor and heart.
